Here is an example of how nuts I am:
Greg and I were walking the dogs today and though I have walked past this building dozens of times, I have never even noticed it. It is a shed that sits in the back of a neighbor's yard, totally innocuous. Today, I saw it and Eureka! I found what I think might be the old shed from the back of Little Bohemia, our first Bayside cottage.

Are you implying your neighbors stole your shed? I didn't think Maine had any crime.
ReplyDeleteNo, not at all. The original owner of the ocean front estate where my cottage served as the caretaker's house in the early 20th century, built and moved to a larger estate up the road. His caretaker moved into the house where the shed is now located and probably moved the old gasworks building from behind my house to behind that house around 1910-12.
